Where is your company based, and where are your products made?

We are headquartered in Singapore and have been since our founding in 2004. All our products are developed by Dr Georgia Lee and her team and are made with the best-possible ingredients sourced globally.

Are your products really doctor-developed?

Yes. Every DrGL® product is developed under the direction of Dr. Georgia Lee, a leading medical aesthetics doctor, and a team of pharmacists and skin professionals. Each formula is original — not private-labelled — and undergoes clinical evaluation before launch.

Who is DrGL® for?

Everyone with skin. Our products are designed for all skin tones, all genders, and all life stages. Whether you’re managing sensitivity, pigmentation, acne, or just want a healthier skin barrier — we’ve got a solution for you.

Do I need a full routine, or can I just use one product?

Are your products cruelty-free?

Absolutely. We never test on animals, and we don’t sell in markets where animal testing is required. We’re committed to responsible beauty — inside and out.

How is DrGLⓇ different from other beauty brands?

We’re not trend-led or white-labeled. Every formula is doctor-curated, tested by certified toxicologists, and developed from scratch based on over 5 million hours of patient-centered care. We combine clinical integrity with multifunctional convenience — maximum efficacy, minimal fuss.

What skin types are DrGL products suitable for?

Our products are formulated for all skin types and conditions, including sensitive skin. We test every batch at independent labs to ensure that they are safe for use. Our formulations have also passed assessments by independent toxicologists, and have been tested to be compatible with our packaging.

How do I know which DrGL® product is right for me?

You can browse by concern or products. We also offer curated starter sets and duos to help you begin where your skin needs it most.

Can I mix or layer DrGL® products?

Yes. In fact, many are designed to be used together:

Can I use DrGL® products with my current skincare?

Absolutely. Our formulations are made to complement your routine, not replace it. They work well with most non-prescription products. If you’re using actives like retinol or AHAs, we suggest patch testing or staggering usage.

I have very sensitive skin, will the product suit my skin?

Yes. In fact, many of our customers come to us after struggling with sensitivity or post aesthetics treatment recovery. Our products are dermatologically tested, free of 1,400+ harmful ingredients, and formulated to calm, restore, and strengthen your skin barrier.

When will my product expire?

All our products have their expiration dates clearly printed on the packaging. In general, we recommend that our products be used within 3 years of manufacture, or the number of months after opening as specified in our packaging, where available, to ensure optimal product quality and efficacy.

Will Toner Brightening and Moisturiser All Skin Types oxidize over time? How should we store them?

When stored correctly, both Toner Brightening and Moisturiser All Skin Types should remain stable until the expiry date indicated on the packaging. However, due to their high concentration of Vitamin C, these products are more prone to oxidation if not stored properly. To maintain their efficacy and freshness, keep them in a cool environment between 5°C to 20°C and avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

Are you cruelty free?

We’re committed to being cruelty free: this means we do not test on animals at any stage of product development, and we will only work with vendors who uphold the same standards.

Are DrGLⓇ products prescription products?

The products available on com are NOT medical products. No claims or representations are being made as to any medically therapeutic properties or benefits associated with the products.

What does “water-based” mean, and why does it matter?

Water-based products use purified water as the primary vehicle to deliver actives deep into the skin — fast, efficiently, and without clogging pores. It also makes our products lighter, more breathable, and ideal for layering or sensitive skin.

Are your ingredients clean and non-toxic?

Yes. Our products are free of more than 1,400 harmful or questionable ingredients. Every formula is assessed by certified toxicologists and undergoes stability, microbiological, and safety testing before release.

How concentrated are your products?

Very. A little goes a long way — our skincare and scalp care actives are formulated for visible results in just a small amount. Use less, get more.

Do you use parabens in your products?

Yes, we use parabens in small percentages as preservatives in our products. These are parabens universally acknowledged to be safe for use in cosmetic products and which are not in any restricted lists of any regulatory bodies worldwide.

Why do you use parabens in your products?

We use parabens because they have been used safely in the Beauty Industry for over 80 years. They have been assessed and reassessed multiple times by international regulatory bodies. To date, no studies have even proven that parabens cause cancer.

Do your products contain silicones?

Yes. Silicones perform a wide variety of functions in cosmetics and skin care, and we use them where we deem it necessary. However, we understand that some silicones are damaging to the environment. We adhere to EU restrictions on the use of silicones to ensure that our customers’ and environmental concerns are not compromised.

Are your products alcohol-free?

Most of our products do not contain alcohol, however, our Post-Cleanser Step 2 and Toner Oil-Control do contain small amounts of alcohol. Rest assured that they do not dry your skin out. Other products containing alcohol: Cleanser Oil Control, Cleanser Acne, Moisturiser Anti-aging and Hair Repair Treatment Conditioner. In skincare products, alcohol functions as a preservative, and primes skin for better penetration of product, and to lighten the texture of creams. Fatty alcohols are also used as emulsifiers.

Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Most of our formulas are safe for use during pregnancy, but as every journey is different, we always recommend checking with your doctor — especially when using products with active ingredients.

I reordered a product and I noticed that it seems to smell/feel a little different, why is that so?

We frequently re-formulate our products to include new and better ingredients or to do away with others. Some of these re-formulations give rise to products which smell a little different from the older versions. Please rest assured that the change in scent in no way affects that efficacy of the product. If you have more questions, please contact us at cs@a-drbrand.com.

How do I know when my product will expire?

Our products like to stay as fresh and current as you, so they have undergone independent laboratory tests in Europe/Japan/Korea for stability and shelf life. We intend for our products to weather all of life’s seasons with you. While our products can be left in extreme heat or cold for short periods of time without affecting their efficacy, they do get cold feet or become too hot to handle which may result in a slight change in product texture. Please check the expiry date on the packaging of each box/bottle, and the storage advice to ensure that your products stay fresh all the time.

Do you comply with international standards?

Yes. We follow the European Union’s cosmetic regulations, which are the most stringent globally. Our products are assessed for safety, efficacy, and labelling compliance.

Do you offer patch testing samples?

We’re working on expanding sampling options — especially for sensitive skin customers. In the meantime, start with a small amount, and feel free to reach out to our team if you have any concerns.
